Basin Chairlift is the longest single chairlift span in the world and takes you across the 308 metre basin of the Cataract Gorge. It takes approximately eight minutes to make the crossing and there are spectacular views of the Gorge Reserve and the waters of South Esk River. Once across, you can stop for something to eat and drink in the restaurant and then take a self-guided tour along the nature trails.
