Denmark presents few obvious difficulties to travellers, especially those from EU countries who undoubtedly enjoy benefits that those from outside the EU don’t. Cash and valuables can be protected if stored or carried discreetly and out of easy reach of miscreants while temptation for opportunists can be removed by not leaving any items of value on display in vehicles. Female visitors should be especially mindful of travelling alone at night and all visitors should avoid straying into sparsely populated parts of the city.
