As the country’s second biggest city, Alexandria is well connected both with other major Egyptian cities and with international destinations. If travelling domestically, it’s possible to reach the city by air, bus or private vehicle. From other countries, plane and ferry provide the chief options although cross-land transportation from neighbouring countries is also available.
