Egypt is not an especially difficult country either to holiday in or to travel around provided visitors stick to main cities and popular tourist areas. Out in less developed parts of the country, a lack of modern amenities and limited transport and accommodation options might make things a little more difficult. Egyptians are by and large friendly people and will generally be accommodating if visitors run into any serious problems.
