Given its southern hemisphere location roughly in line with the top of Australia, Fiji enjoys a hot climate that deviates little regardless of the time of year. The summer between November and March sees temperatures peak around 37C; this period is also known as the hurricane season, although strong storms rarely hit Fiji.
