This is Israel’s third largest city and its economic powerhouse. Baha’i shrine, this ornate, golden-domed shrine on Mt Carmel is an administrative and spiritual centre of the Baha'i faith. One of the founders of the religion, Said Ali Muhammad, is buried inside the shrine.
