Yasukuni Shrine, if ever you wondered why the Chinese have it in for the Japanese, then look no farther than this shrine. Lying close to the Imperial Palace, the Yasukuni Shrine is the final resting place of 2.5 million Japanese souls, the victims of WWII, including people considered war criminals. Japanese leaders have been coming here - and have been criticised as a result – for years.
