With its excellent location, Tangier can be easily reached by various forms of transport including plane, train, bus or ferry. The rail network in Morocco is good and is an excellent way of travelling between the major towns and cities. The overnight service to Marrakech is popular and has sleeping facilities onboard. There is a new station called Tangiers Ville which is a short taxi ride from the city centre. Trains also stop at the older station, about three miles from the city.
