Kathmandu is a leisurely place that prides itself on being laid back and relaxed. Although you might find occasional frenetic tourist clusters, the city itself offers plenty of relaxing activities. The Royal Nepal Golf Club is Kathmandu’s only golf course and can be reached by the south entrance to the Pashupatinath temple. This golf course is however notoriously dangerous as the tee boxes of different holes sometimes face each other. As a result, if the player teeing off at the other hole happens to slice, you might end up with a golf ball in your face.
