Christchurch is a relatively small and compact city with a relaxed feel to it. Many say it feels like an English village which offers an abundance of attractions. Cathedral Square is a good starting point at the heart of the city and aside form the Cathedral itself there are also some good eateries and stalls here. The botanic gardens shouldn’t be missed for any visitor to Christchurch and they deservedly have a worldwide reputation.
