The only way to reach Palawan is to either fly into Manila Airport before transferring to a domestic flight, or to sail on a passenger ferry from Manila. Once in Palawan, you may take tricycles (which are essentially motorcycles with sidecars that can sit two people) to get around. Palawan can be also reached by ferry from Manila. The journey takes approximately 20 hours on a ferry either by WG&A Superferry or Negros Navigation. The ferries are complete with excellent onboard facilities.
