Several motorways connect all major points in South Africa and other nearby countries with Durban; routes from Botswana, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland and Zimbabwe to Durban involve the M4, M7, M13, M19 and N2 and N3 motorways. The trip from Cape Town via the N2 takes a bit over 16 hours; and from Johannesburg on the N3, the trip duration is around 6 hours.
