Tenerife has a pleasant and mild climate, with average temperatures of between 20C and 22C, making the island a popular year round destination. Winter temperatures of below 15C are virtually unheard of, and even during the height of summer it is unusual to have temperatures of more than 30C. These pleasant and balanced conditions are a result of the dry and warm Passat winds mixing with the cooler sea current from the north.
