Double Ninth Day is celebrated on the 9th day of the 9th lunar month. Chinese convention identifies ‘9’ as a number that belongs to ‘yang’. Activities including drinking chrysanthemum wine, hill climbing, hanging dogwood sprays and other customs which date back to the Han Dynasty can be seen.
