There is only one way to reach Koh Phan Ngan and that is by boat. There are several ferry routes, to and from Koh Samui, Koh Tao and the mainland of Surat Thani Province. There are about six sailings a day between 7.00 and 22.00 to Surat Thani, taking between three and six hours (night boat). Passages can be arranged on the next available boat from travel agents frequently found around the island or in Surat Thani town, inclusive of the transfer.
