Khao Sok National Park is the biggest and most rewarding wilderness site in the area, boasting the highest mountains and some fantastic forests. It’s located in the middle of the isthmus, around a large inland lake, and can be visited for a day of hiking and picnicking, or enjoyed overnight in park chalets onsite. It also has several excellent waterfalls.
