Toka Festival is held on Tanna Island and lasts for four days. During this time, traditionally dressed male dancers and painted dancers from local villages dance until they reach a frenzy as they trap and catch women who are then thrown into the air. This goes on until the chief of the village signals that it is time to begin the feast.
