Outbreaks of mosquito borne illness are also fairly common in Vietnam. Dengue fever and malaria are the two more common in the country. It is best to avoid areas where stagnant water can be found as this is usually the breeding site of mosquitoes. Always wear insect repellent and reapply it as often as suggested.
