Diarrhoea is yet another frequent complaint from visitors. This is caused from either eating spicy food or from food that has not been prepared adequately. Many tourists are also not accustomed to the tropical climate of Vietnam and could suffer heatstroke. Tourists are advised to wear a hat with a wide brim and avoid the strenuous activities from about noon to mid afternoon when it is at its peak.
