There are plenty of convenient transportation options to Nha Trang, with good air and rail links complemented by long distance bus services. Driving to Nha Trang is very viable, although Highway 1 can be quite rough in places. The transportation network in Vietnam is still in need of modernisation and road or rail travel can take a lot longer than you would expect.
